via Smoke Daddy

Everywhere you turn, Chicago restaurants are upping the ante to offer the next best and coolest thing for brunch. From mimosa flights and cinnamon roll pancakes to nostalgic cocktails and live music, we in the Windy City can’t get enough of this weekend tradition. And if you participated in Dry January, there’s no better way to start off the month of February than with a big ole boozy brunch! Follow along as we dish out our favorite spots that offer way more than just mimosas.

Smoke Daddy Wrigleyville {3636 North Clark Street, Chicago; 773.227.2583}

Need a laid back brunch spot for the upcoming Cubs season? Look no further. On Saturday and Sunday, Smoke Daddy’s Wrigleyville location serves an awesome brunch, family style. The brunch spread comes with items like Monkey Bread, Hash Browns, a platter of pancakes and more, for the whole table. And if that wasn’t good enough, it’s all you can eat, so they’ll keep serving until you say stop. How many servings do you think you can handle?!

Hubbard Inn {110 West Hubbard Street, Chicago; 773.900.5361}

If you thought Hubbard Inn was just for cocktails and late nights, allow us to enlighten you. Saturdays and Sundays from 11AM-2:30PM, this River North spot serves the booziest of brunches. Just don’t forget about their food menu! Their Eggnog French Toast, topped with a bourbon raspberry sauce, is perfect for your sweet tooth, but they also have an epic Croisandwhich and other dishes to help balance out all those mimosas.

Maple & Ash {8 West Maple Street, Chicago; 312.944.8888}

Radio Room {400 North State Street, Chicago; 312.706.5228}

You can always count on Radio Room to have good food, vibes, and drinks, and their brunch is no different. It’s the ideal spot to watch a game with friends while you dig into your favorite brunch pick!

Stax Cafe {Multiple Locations}

Stax Cafe is known for their wide array of different pancakes… hence their name! But they don’t stop at pancakes! Before you bite into your Chocolate Chip Pancakes or Denver Omelet, take a peek at their cocktail menu. We suggest trying the Stax Sunrise made with fresh squeezed orange and strawberry juice with libelula tequila or the Sriracha Bloody Mary for an extra kick. PB&J {205 North Peoria Street, Chicago; 312.498.7080}

If Fulton Market’s PB&J knows how to do anything, it’s cocktails. And if the name wasn’t nostalgic enough, they are taking everyone’s favorite childhood treats and turning them into one-of-a-kind shots. PB&J offers a Cinnamon Toast Crunch shot made with Fireball, Rumchata and finished with Cinnamon Toast Crunch, plus a Fruit Loops shot made with Hangar 1, Blue Curacao, Rumchata and Fruit Loops. All that’s missing is the Saturday morning cartoons!

Yolk {Multiple Locations}

Yolk is one of those classic Chicago breakfast spots that you can always rely on for good food and a cozy experience. This month, use your Culinary Guide to get buy-one-get-one-free menu items like Lemon Blueberry Pancakes or their decadent Nutty Monkey Cakes filled with banana slices and chocolate chips and layered with peanut butter. Sugary sweet and a great way to start your day!
