Follow along as we run through our top first date night spots…

Lazy Bird {200 North Green Street, Chicago; 312.761.1799}

Tucked away in the cellar level of The Hoxton Hotel in Chicago's Fulton Market District is a secret (or not so secret) cocktail and music lounge. While it gives off hidden gem vibes, Lazy Bird is actually quite popular in the music community.  Their drink menu is vast and showy too, featuring classics like daiquiris and fresh takes like the Clover Club.

Mile High Cocktail Club {120 East Delaware Place, Chicago; 312.280.8800}

Don’t get any big ideas from the name… Mile High Cocktail Club is the beloved cocktail destination located in the Four Seasons hotel. Revolver {1270 North Milwaukee Avenue, Chicago; 773.360.7491}

Don’t be fooled by the pop culture-themed exterior, this Wicker Park cocktail bar is anything but cartoonish. Grab a He Who Remains (dark and light rum and coffee — say less) from their cocktail menu as you wander around the old-school speakeasy.

Bisous {938 West Fulton Market, Chicago}

Bisous, which means kisses in French, is the newest rendition from Footman Hospitality and is the perfect European escape in the heart of Chicago. Equipped with eye-catching rugs, gold and wood accents, martinis, highballs, and a hefty list of sparkling beverages — the 1960s Paris-inspired theme is hard to miss.

Pearl Club {495 North Milwaukee Avenue, Chicago; 312.602.0304}

If subtlety isn’t your strong suit, Pearl Club is the spot for you. Sitting in the same spot that once housed Chicago’s beloved Emmit’s Irish Pub, the designers of this elegant cocktail lounge left no crumbs. Moody blue chairs, ceiling-high teal drapes, and gold chandeliers fill the space offering visitors unparalleled Great Gatsby vibes. And if the luxurious interiors weren’t enough, they also offer guests a lengthy cocktail menu with hand-crafted cocktails, wines, and beers alike.
