Before winter arrives, and it begins getting dark in mid-afternoon, we all need to cram our calendars with as many golden hour dinners and happy hour patio trips as possible. These are the days we’ll remember those come January snows and February winds! These also happen to be the perfect days to really soak in the views of our beautiful city. Whether you’re brunching in bright September sunshine, or having a fun post-work drink with pals, Chicago always looks extra pretty in the fall. That means you should be picking your next meal based on its views! Here are the scenic spots we recommend hitting up ASAP…

The Signature Room at the 95th® {875 North Michigan Avenue, Chicago; 312.787.9596}: This should be a no-brainer and a constant must-visit for first-time Chicago visitors! The views of the entire city, Lake Michigan included, are simply stunning no matter the time of day.

What to order: The Raw Bar for Two - or the full Seafood Tower if you’re feeling very fancy!

Aster Hall {900 North Michigan Shops; 900 North Michigan Avenue, Level 5, Chicago}: For group gatherings, the Events space at Aster Hall is beautiful and bathed in light. For picky eaters, their Food Hall has plenty of offerings. For working remote or after-work happy hours, their Bar & Study is the perfect spot. And all of these floors of foodie goodness have sweeping views of Michigan Avenue and Lake Michigan too.

Their kitchen in the Park Hyatt recently re-opened with classic fall dishes that everyone will enjoy! Come early for a table near the window, and pair the amazing views with a glass of bubbly and your favorite dining partners.

What to order: Lobster Beignets and the NoMI Sushi Platter to enjoy seafood in a variety of ways

Lirica {Navy Pier, 900 East Grand Avenue, Chicago; 872.710.5750}: Navy Pier has some of the best views of both the city and the lake, and this recent addition to their restaurant scene is the perfect place to take in all the Windy City beauty! You can enjoy their Latin-inspired menu (and the views) from breakfast to after-dinner cocktails so you have plenty of time to take advantage before winter.
