Chicago is home to an abundance of different outdoor farmer’s markets, most with prime locations in prominent neighborhoods, making them easily accessible and worth a weekly visit!
Wicker Park Farmer's Market (1425 North Damen Avenue, Chicago, IL)
Open 8am-2pm every Sunday (end date pending); secondary market at Walsh Park every Thursday 4-8pm
Open for over 20 years, The Wicker Park Farmer’s Market is a hotspot for shopping nutritious, environmentally responsible foods, supporting local entrepreneurs, and connecting with neighbors all while celebrating the vibrant spirit of Wicker Park. Check their Instagram page for updates on rotating weekly pop-ups at the market including free live music, free yoga, kids activities + more!

Andersonville Farmer's Market (1500 West Winona Street, Chicago, IL)
Open 3-7pm every Wednesday through October 21
Now entering its 17th year, the Andersonville Farmer’s Market helps bridge the gap between local foods and the community. The market is known and loved for creating a vibrant, inclusive shopping space celebrating the diversity of the Midwest through high-quality products from local farmers + vendors.

Green City Market - Lincoln Park (1817 North Clark Street, Chicago, IL)
Open 7am-1pm every Saturday + Wednesday through November 21
Green City Market is Chicago’s biggest and very first year-round sustainable farmers market with multiple locations throughout the indoor + outdoor season - the most popular being GCM-Lincoln Park. With its prime setup inside the park, GCM is easily accessible by foot, close to Chicago landmarks like the Lincoln Park Zoo and Lakefront Trail and surrounded by green spaces to enjoy your farmer’s market finds. Green City Market also hosts a farmer’s market in the West Loop at 900 West Monroe on Saturdays at 8am.

Lincoln Square Farmer's Market (2301 West Leland Avenue, Chicago, IL)
Open 7am-12pm every Tuesday through November 30 + 3-7pm every Thursday through October 31
Featuring over 50 different vendors, the Lincoln Square Farmer’s Market helps connect local farmers, artisans and food purveyors to the Northside of Chicago. Unlike most summer markets, they are open two separate days each week, one in the morning and one in the evening, giving shoppers ample time to wander and explore.

South Loop Farmer's Market (632 South Dearborn Street, Chicago, IL)
Open 9am-1pm every Saturday through October 31, City Market IRL every Thursday 4-8pm through September 24
Located in the heart of Printers Row and running for over a decade now, the South Loop Farmer’s Market features an incredible lineup of local farms, food vendors, prepared foods, and one-of-a-kind artisans and makers. They also recently launched a brand new indoor market, ‘City Market IRL’, that happens on Thursdays and is located inside the Water Tower Place.

Logan Park Farmer's Market (2620 North Milwaukee Avenue, Chicago, IL)

Open since 2005, and consistently voted ‘Best Farmer’s Market’ in Chicago’s Reader, the Logan Square Farmer’s Market is both a neighborhood and citywide favorite for weekly community gatherings. They pride themselves on providing nutritious, conscientiously grown local foods to the community and advocating for small-scale, local food entrepreneurs.

SOAR Farmer's Market - Streeterville (220 East Chicago Avenue, Chicago, IL)
Open 7am-2pm every Tuesday through November 4
Streeterville’s SOAR Market is located in the outdoor plaza of Chicago’s Museum of Contemporary Art, mere steps away from the Mag Mile. The market is home to fresh produce, delicious baked goods, seasonal flowers + bouquets and more substantial lunch options to enjoy with friends on the MCA plaza.
