On St. Patrick’s Day, all of Chicago is Irish…and they’re ready to celebrate! Whether you want a great meal to enjoy quietly at home, or have expanded your quaranteam to get out and about in the city again, there’s a celebration for you. Get ready for days (or in some cases a whole month) of corned beef, green beer, Irish sweet treats, and a foodie feast we can all feel lucky digging in to 🌈

Bandit {841 West Randolph Street, Chicago; 312.666.6061}: If you’re looking for a bigger celebration, Bandit is hosting their first annual “Tap O' The Morn” celebration this Saturday, March 13. You have to reserve your table, and both morning and afternoon reservations get special deals (think bottomless Green Tomato Bloody Mary's or bites like Reuben Waffle Fries). In addition to the ticketed celebration, Bandit will be offering specialty St. Patrick's Day beverages like a signature boozy Grasshopper Cake Shake to get us all in the spirit!

Bub City {multiple locations}: You should be able to celebrate in style, no matter where you live! Bub City is offering a special Corned Beef Reuben at both their River North and Rosemont locations from Thursday, March 11 - Wednesday, March 17. Grab it for carryout or order delivery to dig in at home.

I|O Godfrey {127 West Huron Street, Chicago; 312.374.1830}: Spring is coming so let’s get outside! The city’s largest indoor/outdoor rooftop has plenty of themed dishes and cocktails for celebrating from Friday, March 12 to Wednesday, March 17, including a Green Frosé All Day cocktail, a Reuben sandwich or Green Cake Pops for dessert.

Recess {838 West Kinzie Street, Chicago; 312.801.1181}: We’re all lucky because Recess’s ‘Sugar Rush’ pop-up has been extended! Their patio is hosting this extra sweet pop-up through March 14. So order a Boozy Shamrock Shake or Guinness on draft and enjoy it under the sun with your favorite people. Pair that with an Irish-themed Burger (two beef patties, bacon, Irish whiskey cheddar, caramelized onions, Guinness glaze & potato bun) for an extra special meal.

The Langham Chicago {330 North Wabash Avenue, Chicago; 312.923.9988}: Though the celebration won’t be the same, you can still take in the green of the Chicago River from The Langham. While you’re there, dig in to specials like Corned Beef Belly Ramen with kimchi brussels sprouts, five-minute egg, and hash brown or treat yourself to a Bailey’s Crème Cupcake. They’re all available from Saturday, March 13 - Wednesday, March 17.

PB&J: Pizza Beer and Jukebox {205 North Peoria Street, Chicago; 312.498.7080}: If you’re trying not to expand your quaranteam, you can book a small table at PB&J starting at 8AM on Saturday, March 13. They have a variety of packages for you to book with just your closest friends! You can also visit their “Pot O Gold” pop up bar outside and purchase Green beer, Guinness, and more. There’s something for every Chicago leprechaun 😉

The Dearborn {145 North Dearborn Street, Chicago; 312.384.1242}: For two Ireland-born sisters, the reopening of The Dearborn this month comes in perfect time for their home country’s celebrated holiday! Feast on Fish & Chips, Beef & Lamb Shepherd’s Pie and a Strawberry & Crème Roulade cake or order their three-course family meal to make your holiday extra easy. No matter what you order, you can know you’ll be eating something made with true Irish love.
