After a summer off, Chicago’s biggest festival is BACK in action: Lollapalooza 2021 hits the Windy City this weekend! Starting tomorrow and running through Sunday, everyone’s favorite music fest will be taking over…but it’s not all about the music! There will also be amazing eats, drinks and events in and around Grant Park, extending that Lolla excitement throughout the city. So, put on your dancing shoes but also get your foodie on with a line-up to love…

FAVE SPOTS IN THE FESTIVAL

Chow Town is the place to be for food-lovers at Lolla, and while the entire list of local restaurants is amazing, these are the ones we’d recommend making SURE to hit…

Goddess and Grocer is always a fan favorite, and long-time Lolla participant! Their snacks and meals are perfect for eating as you run to the next show, or to keep on hand to nibble at throughout the long days in the sun. Plus their treats tend to be super cute, making them perfect for a Lolla selfie or two ;)

Smoke Daddy is perfect for those who didn’t get enough amazing BBQ during Windy City Smokeout. Dig in to classic summer barbecue while you enjoy an amazing weekend of Chicago summer fun!

Bar Cargo is serving up delicious slices and other party-perfect food all weekend long! Since this is one of the best spots for a fun meal in River North, we know they’ll also bring fun to Chow Town.

TOP SPOTS NEAR THE FESTIVAL

Beatrix {multiple locations}: Start your long weekend in Grant Park with $1 coffee at Beatrix! Show your Lolla wristband at Beatrix River North, Streeterville, Fulton Market and even Oak Brook on Friday, and they’ll give you a $1 cold brew for an extra spring in your dancing steps 💃 Just show your Lolla wristband at the coffee bar and the $1 cold brew is all yours!

Yolk South Loop {1120 South Michigan Avenue, Chicago; 312.789.9655}: If you need more than a coffee at the start of your dancing days, you can carb up with everything from Nutella Crepes to a Breakfast Burrito at Yolk. They’re the perfect spot to gather your group before walking over to the festival area, and one of their epic breakfasts will keep you full for hours of musical fun!

EPIC Burger South Loop {517 South State Street, Chicago; 312.913.1373}: Get your Lolla meal on the go! You can stop at this Chicago burger joint on your way to Grant Park (they open at 11AM) or pick up your favorite burger and milkshake combo on your way home from the concerts. We love the Epic Epic Burger, but they also have wings, shakes and more!

Roots Handmade Pizza Printer’s Row {744 S Dearborn Street, Chicago; 773.645.4909}: Pizza is ALWAYS a good idea, but especially after a long day in the sunshine. It fuels you up and is easy to share with your Lolla crew, plus if you hit up Roots in the South Loop, you can also get access to their stunning rooftop patio. Just relax and dig in!
