Pride Month Happenings in Chicago

via Goddess & Grocer

If there’s one thing this world could use a little more of, it’s LOVE. June is Pride Month and provides the perfect opportunity to show love and to celebrate + support the LGBTQ+ community. Here are a group of Chicago establishments that are offering exclusive specials throughout June to show their support for the community:

The Goddess and Grocer {Multiple Locations}

The Goddess and Grocer’s legendary Rainbow Cake is basically Pride in a slice, with each mouth-watering layer featuring a different color of the rainbow. And while eating this decadent dessert is a great idea any time of the year, it’s even *sweeter* during the month of June because you get to eat for a good cause! The Goddess and Grocer, in support of the Center On Halsted, will be donating $1 of each Rainbow Cake slice sold to the organization’s continued support to provide resources to the LGBTQ and allied community.

The Dearborn {145 North Dearborn Street, Chicago, IL; 312.384.1242}

Situated in the heart of the Loop, The Dearborn will be offering a limited-time cocktail called Panic at the Pisco in celebration of Pride month. This bright drink will feature a blend of Grey Goose Vodka, Macchu Pisco, Chinola Passionfruit Liqueur, lime, vanilla bitters, and Tempus Fugit Kina L’Aero d’Or with an Xtreme Airhead Rope garnish designed to resemble the Pride flag for an added festive touch! Proceeds from each cocktail sold will benefit Howard Brown Health, a local organization dedicated to LGBTQ+ health and wellness.

via Summer House Santa Monica

Summer House Santa Monica {1954 North Halsted Street, Chicago, IL; 773.634.4100}

Show your Pride love with Summer House Santa Monica’s delicious homemade Rainbow Sugar Rush cookie - a glow-up of the classic sugar cookie with rainbow sprinkles and colorful frosting design! This sweet treat will be available at The Cookie Bar, located inside the restaurant for the entire month of June.

Firecakes Donuts {Multiple Locations)

A donut a day keeps the doctor away (and supports a great cause)! Stop by any Firecakes Donuts location during the month of June and satisfy your sweet tooth with their featured Classic Tahitian Vanilla Iced Donut decorated with a rainbow stripe in honor of Pride! A portion of donut proceeds will support the Center on Halsted and their mission to provide resources and support to the LGBTQ and allied community.

via Mordecai

Mordecai {3632 North Clark Street, Chicago, IL; 773.269.5410}

Sip for a great cause at Wrigleyville’s Mordecai, an intimate brasserie located right next to Wrigley Field. The restaurant will be continuing its ongoing monthly ‘Cocktails for a Cause’ program with a special partnership benefiting Center on Halsted, the Midwest’s most comprehensive LGBTQ+ community center. Mordecai will feature two specially crafted beverages – one spirited and one spirit-free – during the month of June with a portion of proceeds supporting The Center on Halsted. Drink highlights include a Color My Bandana cocktail with feta-washed gin, basil, mint + watermelon juice as well as the spirit-free Coconut Grove with passionfruit juice, Noroi N/A "gin," orgeat + lime juice.

InterContinental Chicago {505 North Michigan Avenue, Chicago, IL; 312.944.4100}

The InterContinental Magnificent Mile Hotel is making a *splash* this Pride Month with their third annual ‘Dive Into Pride: Gods & Goddesses Pool Party’ extravaganza! This nighttime soiree will be headlined by RuPaul’s Drag Race alum Naysha Lopez and her Pit Crew on Saturday, June 7th in the hotel’s iconic 1929 junior Olympic-sized pool. Guests are encouraged to dress in mythology-inspired attire, think draped fabrics, metallics, and statement accessories, but all expressions are welcome! Pride party festivities include live DJ and drag performances, themed cocktails and pride decor and exclusive private VIP cabanas with dedicated poolside space. Tickets can be purchased here

Fulton Market Pride Power Hour {Multiple Locations)

A knockout list of Fulton Market restaurants are banding together for a special ‘Pride Power Hour’ this June, an event spearheaded by the Day Off Hospitality Group. Participants for 2025 include Aba, Alla Vita, Carciofo, Rose Mary, BLVD, Cabra + Proxi and each restaurant will be donating 50% of proceeds to Brave Space Alliance, the first black and trans-led LGBTQ+ center on the south side of Chicago.
