Get interactive this Valentine’s Day with Labriola’s playful, hands-on ‘Heart Shaped Pizza Making’ experience. This two hour class is perfect for a date night or fun night out with friends, offering a behind-the-scenes look at how Labriola crafts its iconic pizzas—this time, in heart form! Guests will enjoy a welcome cocktail, Labriola spritzes and wine pairings, passed appetizers throughout the event, and a classic tiramisu to end on a sweet note, along with their homemade pizza. If you can’t make it to the event, Labriola will also be offering premade heart-shaped pizzas for purchase in-store or nationwide via Goldbelly from Feb 1-15.

Guests will be among the first to experience Chef Nicolai’s brand new Banquet Tasting Menu, showcasing nine exclusive courses to indulge in. The night will begin with mingling, welcome sips and bites in the foyer before diners settle into the communal dining table to enjoy the energy of the open kitchen and a thoughtfully paced meal expertly paired with wines, cocktails, or N/A offerings. The Peninsula Chicago, is offering not one, not two, but *three* special ways to soak up Valentine’s weekend. Firstly, their beloved pop-up ‘Chocolate Bar at The Pen’ is making a special return to The Lobby for the weekend, with the Peninsula’s talented pastry team offering guests a Valentine-theme buffet of elegant bite-sized chocolate desserts and bites. Secondly, Shanghai Terrace will be featuring an exclusive Asian-inspired 5-course, prix fixe dinner (with choice of entrée). Lastly, The Peninsula’s intimate cocktail lounge, Z Bar will be celebrating Galentine’s Day with a ‘Sip the Galentini’ cocktail, themed photo booth and live DJ for the gal pals.

For all the sushi loving couples, Omakase Shoji will be showcasing their full 20-course omakase experience, led by master sushi chef Shoji Takahashi, at the intimate 10-seat sushi counter. The luxurious tasting menu will feature the finest fish and ingredients from Japan, all aged to perfection. Additionally, the team at Omakase Shoji will be offering an exclusive Valentine’s Day omakase menu at their Izakaya-style bar. Guests can elevate either of the meals with a curated selection of sake, wine, beer, Japanese whiskies, or chilled Japanese tea.

Club Lucky offers a romantic backdrop year round, with its cozy, intimate interior, savory Italian fare, crisp cocktails and robust wine list. This Bucktown neighborhood favorite doesn't offer a specific Valentine’s menu, but the restaurant definitely goes all out with romantic themes and mood-setting atmosphere.

Guests dining for Valentine’s weekend can expect heart-shaped balloons and other décor and of course romantic music serenading them during their meal or round of drinks at the bar.
