On October 16 & 17, NoMI Kitchen at The Park Hyatt Chicago will host intimate dinners where artwork is created before diners’ eyes; featuring live gyotaku art, seasonal omakase, House of Suntory spirits, and Japanese vinyl culture.

HERITAGE SERIES: Japanese Artistry completely transforms NoMI Kitchen into an intimate and immersive omakase experience where art is no longer confined to the gallery walls. Throughout the evening, select seafood featured on the menu is transformed into contemporary gyotaku – a traditional Japanese printmaking technique dating back to the mid-1800s, originally used by fishermen to document their catches before photography.
