St. Patrick’s Day @ Guinness Open Gate Brewery

As Chicago preps for its 2026 River Dyeing and the sea of green downtown, the Guinness Open Gate Brewery is ready to serve as the West Loop’s headquarters for a proper Irish celebration. From March 13-15, OGB is opening the gates for a weekend-long festival that blends Dublin tradition with Chicago energy. Most notably, the team is getting an early start on Saturday, March 14 (9 AM) to welcome the post-river-dyeing crowd.

  • The Vibe: Live entertainment featuring local bands and DJs.

  • The Experience: Festive programming including professional face painting, interactive photo-ops, Guinness swag giveaways (while supplies last), and classic Irish snugs open for seatings at the brewery.
