Boozy Brunch Spots in Chicago That Don’t Miss

via Maple & Ash

Nothing says the weekend is here quite like brunch with a twist. Whether you are looking for a laid-back locale with the world's best breakfast or an Instagram donut wall with bottomless mimosas, Chicago has something for everyone. Follow along as we run through our favorite boozy brunch spots to visit this weekend (and every weekend).

Maple & Ash {8 West Maple Street, Chicago; 312. 944.8888}

If you haven’t done brunch at Maple & Ash, then do you even live in Chicago? Don’t let the high-end steakhouse vibe fool you, this downtown eatery is known for its over the top brunch, too. Reserve your spot for their new Champagne IDGAF Menu, which offers chef-selected brunch dishes, caviar, ENDLESS glasses of champagne, and more. They are also adding sushi as a breakfast staple (yes, please), a martini tree that can hold up to twelve espresso martinis or coupes of Champagne, and a variety of brand-new à la carte dishes.

Stax Cafe {Multiple Locations}

Mouth watering pancakes and delectable omelets meet buzzworthy Bloody Marys at this Chicago favorite. If you’re looking for a breakfast menu that even the pickiest of eaters can find something on, head to one of Stax Cafe’s locations spread throughout Chicagoland.

Raised Rooftop {1 West Wacker Drive, Chicago; 312.795.3444}

While you won’t find classic breakfast bites at this urban rooftop bar, you will find some of the best booze in the city. Whether you just want to get drinks with the girls after eating at your favorite bagel shop or just aren’t much of a breakfast person, you can definitely get your drink on here. Choose between hand-crafted cocktails like Watered Flowers (Aperol, strawberry, and rose water, need we say more?!) and an array of draft brews.

Yolk {Multiple Locations}

It doesn’t get more Sunday in Chicago than a weekend brunch at Yolk. Whether you are hungover from the night before (we’ve all been there) or just want your favorite comfort food (Cheesy Egg Sandwich, I’m looking at you), you can always count on this breakfast eatery for good food. Yolk is BYOB so, bring your favorite liquor, and they will provide all the mixins for mimosas and their award-winning Bloody Marys.

Hurley Tap {1645 West Cortland Street, Chicago; 773.697.8976}

Looking for a neighborhood cantina that offers some of the best Tex-Mex in town? Look no further than Hurley Tap! Their menu is the same regardless of the hour, so whether you are hoping for a Blackjack BBQ Brisket Sandwich or Frito Pie at 11am or 11pm,  you’re bound to find it here.

via Taquizo

Taquizo {1835 West North Avenue, Chicago; 773.289.4991}

If you’ve ever thought of heaven, you might imagine fluffy clouds and pearly gates. We imagine the food at Taquizo. In no other universe can you get Churro Pancakes, a Queso Birria Taco, and bottomless mimosas in the same sitting. So when we say this Wicker Park favorite has it all, we really mean it!

Hubbard Inn {110 West Hubbard Street, Chicago; 773.900.5361}

Ah, Hubbard Inn, a right of boozy brunch passage for every Chicagoan. No one does brunch quite like this multi-level River North venue. Pair the Vanille Brioche French Toast with the bottomless mimosas for a morning brunch you won’t forget (maybe, they are bottomless after all).
